15 air conditioned (AC) express trains services from May 12

Indian Railways to start special passenger trains from May 12

The train services will initially begin with 15 pairs of trains or with 30 journeys from Tuesday i.e. May 12 2020 . These trains will be run as special trains from New Delhi Station connecting 15 important cities of the country.

Tickets can only be booked online via IRCTC website or through the Mobile App. The online booking for the trains will resume from 4 pm on Monday. Ticket booking counters at the railway stations shall remain closed and no counter  tickets. Only passengers with valid confirmed tickets will be allowed to enter the railway stations.  It will be mandatory for the passengers to wear face cover and undergo screening at departure and only asymptomatic passengers will be allowed to board the train.

These trains will be run as special trains from New Delhi Station connecting 15 important cities of the country. These cities are Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Trivandrum, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi.
