2.5 million liters of water arrived in Chennai

Around 2.5 million litres of water was transported from Jolarpet to Chennai in a 5-wagon train on Friday.

There is a severe water shortage in Tamil Nadu. From villages to cities, people are stranded without water. Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, is running out of water. Companies are asking employees to work as they are at home, and hotels are closed. The livelihood of the people of Chennai has been greatly affected.

After the water crisis, many questions raised to Tamil Nadu government. Govt took action bringing the water from Jolharpet and also 65 crores has been allocated for this purpose.
